How to Source GHG Credits as an Offsite Mitigation Measure under CEQA
Register here: https://register.gotowebinar.com/register/843252160431629071 This webinar will share practical information on how projects can source GHG credits for CEQA compliance including incorporating local GHG credits as part of their offsite mitigation measures. Participants will learn about using ex-ante credits from GHG emissions reduction projects to help finance and secure offsite reductions with multiple co-benefits for local communities. To illustrate this approach, the webinar will discuss several real-world examples, including the Reserve’s Climate Forward program and how the program’s Forecasted Mitigation Units…

Confirmation Body Training for Climate Forward
The Reserve’s Climate Forward program provides a practical solution to companies and organizations seeking cost-effective mitigation of anticipated (i.e., future) operational and/or project-related GHG emissions. In order to receive Forecasted Mitigation Units (FMUs) for the anticipated emission reductions, every project must conduct a confirmation, in which an accredited third-party ensures the projected GHG emissions reductions have met a specified quality standard and complied with the Reserve’s procedures and approved forecast methodologies. This is a mandatory course for team leads wishing…

Avoided Wildfire Emissions Kickoff Webinar
Please join the Reserve for an overview of the Climate Forward program's Avoided Wildfire Emissions Forecast Methodology development process. The Reserve is developing a forecast methodology under its Climate Forward program to recognize the climate benefits associated with fuel treatment activities that lower the risk of catastrophic forest fires and the emissions associated with them. Megafires across the western U.S. have increased in scale, intensity, and frequency and have become major emissions sources. Known management options, such as mechanical fuel…
