The Reserve’s Climate Forward program provides a practical solution to companies and organizations seeking cost-effective mitigation of anticipated (i.e., future) operational and/or project-related GHG emissions. In order to receive Forecasted Mitigation Units (FMUs) for the anticipated emission reductions, every project must conduct a confirmation, in which an accredited third-party ensures the projected GHG emissions reductions have met a specified quality standard and complied with the Reserve’s procedures and approved forecast methodologies. This is a mandatory course for team leads wishing to perform confirmation of projects under Climate Forward. The training will cover the activities and procedures for completing confirmation of projects under the Climate Forward program. In order to receive team lead certification, you must pass the course examination.
